Allow enough space around your equipment
Making sure that you leave enough space around the equipment is vital, so that you can safely and comfortably move around it. Leaving enough clearance around. The machine also helps reduce accidents and it allows you to have a full range of motion when exercising without restriction.
Keep equipment in a heated environment
We recommend, where possible, setting up your home gym equipment in a heated, dry environment. This is to reduce the risk of any rust forming on the equipment due to condensation.
Check the dimensions before purchasing
When choosing your equipment it is essential that you check the measurements, to make sure they can fit comfortably in your desired area, while still leaving ample space for safe use. You can find all dimensions in our product descriptions.
Consider the weight and transportation of equipment
The weight of the equipment is another important factor to consider, especially if you are planning to set up the equipment upstairs. Before your purchase you should make sure that the floor is capable of withstanding the weight of the machines safely. Transportation of the equipment up the stairs (some shipping companies will only deliver to your door so this is an important consideration) should also be thought of making sure there is enough space through doorways, corners and up the stairs.
When starting out the following list of equipment is a good starting point –
